This includes earning a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and completing an accredited, pre-professional experience program. RDs must also pass a rigorous national level examination and complete continuing education requirements to maintain their credential. Some RDs hold advanced degrees and additional certifications in specialized areas of practice.”

This plan will work for you if you need help getting back on track by providing nutrition education which sets the foundation for success. During our initial 60 minute appointment, we will use our nutrition expertise to provide basic nutrition education.  We will review your goals to customize a well-balanced, sustainable nutrition plan to help you feel healthier and better. Prior to our first meeting we will require a 4 day food log to help meal plan and personalize a Fad Free lifestyle program.

During our follow-up appointments, we will evaluate progress, make adjustments to your plan and fine tune goals.

As a crucial component to your program, we strive to provide communication regarding your progress. You can expect timely responses, customized handouts and recap emails after visits.​

3 Month Program

7 in person visits (1 60-75 minute initial appointment, 2 30 minute follow-up appointments, 4 30-45 minute follow-up appointments of your choice: grocery store visit, pantry clean out, menu review and recipe modification, unlimited text/email support)

11 in person visits (1 60-75 minute initial appointment, 4 30 minute follow-up appointments, 4 30-45 minute follow-up appointments of your choice: grocery store visit, pantry clean out, menu review and recipe modification, attend 2 high energy workout classes with Samantha or 2 food preparation lessons with Ashley or one of each, unlimited text/email support)

This plan will work for you if you need a total nutrition overhaul-starting from the ground up. We will dispel common dietary myths and have daily check-ins to support you during each and every step. We will provide extensive nutrition education. Individualized trips to the grocery store(s), cleaning out your home pantry, and analyzing your favorite restaurant menus and family recipes make this plan specific to you!  We can further customize this plan to meet your needs. During our initial 60 minute appointment, we will use our nutrition expertise to provide nutrition education which sets the foundation for success. Conditions which can adversely affect fertility range from insulin resistance, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), to underweight and overweight concerns. Nutrition Counseling for at risk of Gestational Diabetes

Research indicates that family history, personal health history, age greater than 25, obesity, excessive weight gain prior to pregnancy are all associated with an increased risk of gestational diabetes. Women at risk or who have developed gestational diabetes should closely monitor weight gain, nutritional intake and physical activity.  Carbohydrate counting and eating the right kind of diet during pregnancy can keep your blood glucose numbers in check leading to a healthier pregnancy and baby.

Meal Planning

2 in person meetings (1 hour each)

We believe that spending time meal planning and prepping is important for setting yourself up for success. It will not only save you time and money, it will reduce food waste and will eliminate the daily stress of having to think, “what am I going to have for lunch and/or dinner.”  This will alleviate the need to grab the quickest refined carbohydrate you can find because you are so hungry you cannot get food into your mouth fast enough. Whether it be planning home cooked meals, re-formulating favorite recipes or analyzing restaurant menus, we are here for you.

 

Recipes

2 in person meetings (1 hour each)

$180

We will provide a weeks worth of customized recipes to help take the guesswork out of what is for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prior to providing recipes we will sit down with you and learn your likes, dislikes, allergies and overall health and nutrition goals. We will provide grocery store shopping lists to go along with the recipes.

 

Grocery Store Tours

1 in person meeting (45 minutes)

$ 50 for an individual

$ 45 each for 2 or more individuals.

Grocery shopping can be a daunting task, and it doesn’t need to be.  Take Fad Free to the grocery store! Learn how to read a nutrition label, what to look for in the ingredient list,  and how to build a Fad Free meal. We will point out new and exciting products and share our favorite “dietitian approved” foods.  

 

Combo

If you can’t decide which a la carte option is best for you then add all 3!  1 week of meal planning (21 total meals),  along with recipes and  grocery store tour at your store of choice.
